Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the Scottie D Plays Stream Overlay at stream.sdhome.online accesses and processes information. It is a privately operated streaming utility, not a service offered for public registration.

Information accessed

• Read-only YouTube channel identity and active livestream details.
• Public YouTube live-chat messages and author details, Super Chats, Super Stickers, membership events and concurrent viewer totals.
• Twitch account identity, public chat, follows, subscriptions, Bits, raids, rewards, Hype Train events and viewer totals authorized by the channel owner.
• Overlay settings, uploaded sounds and locally generated chat/activity logs.

How information is used

Information is used only to operate the owner’s OBS overlays, combined activity dock, stream alerts, chatbot and viewer counter. It is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions or sale. It is not shared with third parties except requests necessary to communicate with Google/YouTube and Twitch services.

Storage, protection and retention

OAuth credentials, settings and logs are stored on the operator’s private home server. Access to administrative functions is password protected and OBS connections use a separate access token. Data remains until the operator deletes it; chat logs may be deleted at any time from the server. Reasonable technical controls are used, but no internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Google API data

The application’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Access, deletion and revocation

To request access or deletion, email admin@sd-nerd.co.uk. The channel owner can revoke Google access at Google Account third-party connections and Twitch access at Twitch Connections. Revocation stops future collection; locally stored tokens and logs can then be deleted by the operator.
